Individualized Home Supports

Individualized Home Supports with Training (IHST) is a program that provides in-home support and training to individuals with disabilities who require assistance to live independently. In addition to the services provided through IHS, IHST includes a focus on training individuals with disabilities to develop the skills they need to live independently.
The training provided through IHST may include instruction in areas such as cooking, cleaning, money management, and social skills. The goal of IHST is to help individuals with disabilities develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and to enhance their quality of life.
Like IHS, IHST services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each person, taking into account their abilities, preferences, and goals.
Overall, the IHST program provides a comprehensive approach to supporting individuals with disabilities in their efforts to live independently, by providing both hands-on assistance and training in important life skills.
