Who We Are
MySkye Care was formed to meet the needs of the community and to provide sensible solutions for marginalized populations. Not everyone is granted equal footing in life, and we believe whole-heartedly that with the necessary support, individuals can thrive.
Every service we offer is client-driven and person-centered, focused on building the skills that bring greater independence, health, safety and wellness, so each person can live a full and meaningful life in the community.

Financial assistance that helps seniors, people with disabilities and low-income Minnesotans cover rent, utilities and household costs, so they can live safely and independently.
W/ Training
In-home support and hands-on training in cooking, cleaning, money management and social skills, tailored to each person’s abilities, preferences and goals.
On-call counseling and problem solving from experienced case managers, with immediate response, remotely or in person, during a health or personal emergency.

What services does MySkye Care offer?
We currently offer three person-centered services: Housing Support (formerly GRH), Individualized Home Supports with Training (IHST), and 24 Hour Emergency Assistance. Every service is client-driven and tailored to the needs and goals of each person.
Who is eligible for Housing Support?
Minnesota Housing Support helps low-income individuals, including people with disabilities and seniors, cover rent, utilities, food and other household costs. To be eligible, individuals generally must meet income and asset limits and have a qualifying disability or be over the age of 65. Our staff can help determine your eligibility and guide you through the application process.
What is Individualized Home Supports with Training (IHST)?
IHST provides in-home support and training to individuals with disabilities who need assistance to live independently. Training may include cooking, cleaning, money management and social skills, along with help accessing community resources, arranging appointments, tenancy support and crisis prevention.
What does 24 Hour Emergency Assistance include?
This service supports individuals with on-call counseling and problem solving. Our experienced case managers provide immediate response for a health or personal emergency, either remotely or in person, and help connect people with the right resources. If anyone is in immediate danger, please call 911.
